Cosmic Energy and Meditation
Everything is energy vibrating in a pattern. The pattern and density of the energy decides how an energy will manifest itself in form.A vibration is the motion of an electromagnetic field. There is a law of vibration upon the molecular level that means as vibrations or motions become denser they become visible to our eyes. That means that the physical body of the person or an object has a denser vibration than something not readily visible to everyone. A room may be filled with objects such as a chair or table that appear to be still and at rest, which in reality are just dense molecules vibrating at incredible speeds.
The Cosmic or Universal Energy Field is called many different names, including the Universal Mind, the Collective Consciousness, the Akasha, or the Universal Body. This the energy of the entire Universe that connects the earth, all planets, all stars, the entire cosmos, all people, plants and animals, all beings on all planets. It links everyone and everything, past, present and future. It can be compared to a huge energetic spider web that joins everyone and everything. The Creator of the Universe is the canter and soul of this Cosmic Energy Field. In the Cosmic Energy Field, everything is constantly seeking to be in balance. Instability seeks stability. Inhaling is balanced by exhaling. Wakefulness is balanced by sleep. Natural electricity is balance by natural magnetism. Death is balanced by life itself. This is the wellspring of knowledge that provides us with the information, insight and wisdom we receive. You can call this knowledge intuition, knowing, or by many other names.

Energy blockages can occur anywhere in the energy system including the auras, chakras, meridian system, or any channel or point used by the physical or energetic body to move energy. These blockages can be caused my many things including negative thoughts, negative thought forms, emotions that have been repressed and are lodged in the energetic body, entities, spirits, spells, negative energy, psychic attack energies, past life memories, and all types of toxins. Energy blockages can occur in the auras, chakras, the meridian system, and throughout the physical body. An energy block reduces the flow of energy creating many different symptoms including fatigue, low vitality, confusion, slow thinking, lack in clarity of thought, depression, poor memory and a variety of other symptoms. Every thought you have has energy and this is often called a thought-form. The more energy you give your thoughts the stronger the thought-form resulting from that thought. You can intentionally create thought-forms at will. One exercise often given in a dowsing class is to have one person leave the room. In their absence the group is asked to imagine a wall three feet high and five feet long. They decide upon the dimensions of this wall. The other dowser then returns and is asked to find the wall constructed by those in the room and 100% of the time the individual finds the wall. This is a good example of how a thought form can be created. A thought form can remain in its energetic state for a very long period of time. Negative energies result from negative thoughts and emotions. Think of the tension you feel in a room when people are arguing or fighting. It’s the negative energy you are sensing. These negative energies can end up in your aura and also in your body eventually creating physical illness within you. Negative energies can easily jump from one person to another person. Cosmic Energy is always accessible, but there are really only two ways to receive it.
Firstly, Cosmic Energy is accessible through meditation. During meditation, your consciousness is able to transcend your body and mind, allowing Cosmic Energy to flow into your being.
The second way to receive Cosmic Energy happens naturally through deep sleep. But, in our fast paced, often hectic and chaotic world filled with drains on our energy, the Cosmic Energy we connect with during sleep is not sufficient enough to even replace that which we’re losing.
Cosmic Energy is available in an abundant supply, so it’s simply up to you to tap into it. Meditation is the way to align with the Cosmic Energy which can carry you forward on your path of healing, spiritual growth, ascension, and psychic development.
Cosmic energy enters through the mind and meditation helps the mind to be more focused to receive it. Cosmic energy enters our individual mind-body system through the chackras and supports the human energy field. In most humans chackras are at least partially closed most of the time because of the distractions in the mind like anxiety, fear, worry, stress and negative emotions.
When you meditate, the mind and body have the tendency to become one. This helps the physical and spiritual self to receive the energy and helps in cosmic energy healing.
Meditation is a mind that is single-pointedly focused on a virtuous object, and whose function is to make our mind peaceful and calm. Whenever we meditate, we are performing a mental action that will cause us to experience inner peace in the future. Meditation is a practice where an individual trains the mind or induces a mode of consciousness, either to realize some benefit or for the mind to simply acknowledge its content without becoming identified with that content, or as an end in itself. The term meditation refers to a broad variety of practices that includes techniques designed to promote relaxation, build internal energy or life force (qi, ki, prana, etc.) and develop compassion, love, patience, generosity, and forgiveness. A particularly ambitious form of meditation aims at effortlessly sustained single-pointed concentration meant to enable its practitioner to enjoy an indestructible sense of well-being while engaging in any life activity. The word meditation carries different meanings in different contexts. Meditation has been practiced since antiquity as a component of numerous religious traditions and beliefs. Meditation often involves an internal effort to self-regulate the mind in some way. Meditation is often used to clear the mind and ease many health concerns, such as high blood pressure, depression, and anxiety. It may be done sitting, or in an active way—for instance, Buddhist monks involve awareness in their day-to-day activities as a form of mind-training. Prayer beads or other ritual objects are commonly used during meditation in order to keep track of or remind the practitioner about some aspect of that training.
Meditation may involve generating an emotional state for the purpose of analyzing that state—such as anger, hatred, etc.—or cultivating a particular mental response to various phenomena, such as compassion. The term “meditation” can refer to the state itself, as well as to practices or techniques employed to cultivate the state. Meditation may also involve repeating a mantra and closing the eyes. The mantra is chosen based on its suitability to the individual meditator. Meditation has a calming effect and directs awareness inward until pure awareness is achieved, described as “being awake inside without being aware of anything except awareness itself.” In brief, there are dozens of specific styles of meditation practice, and many different types of activity commonly referred to as meditative practices.
Meditation is not a singular act. It’s an ongoing practice. In other words, if we wish to obtain the maximum out of it, we need to put into it our best and consistent effort. We will not be able to build on a foundation if we continually abandon it. To be effective, we must establish a meditation practice that occurs once a day every day. Meditation power lies within the mind. When we learn to focus the attention of the mind, it becomes feasible to develop positive thoughts.
To accomplish this goal, you need to consider the major components of every meditation practice. These are:
Preparation – this includes the place, time and environment
Contemplation – setting the scene for your meditation, may include focusing, yogic breathing
Meditation – the actual meditation
Dedication – to the course and also dedication prayers
Subsequent Practice
Meditation posture:
The legs are crossed in the vajra posture. This helps to reduce thoughts and feelings of desirous attachment.
The right hand is placed in the left hand, palms upwards, with the tips of the thumbs slightly raised and gently touching. The hands are held about four fingers’ width below the navel. This helps us to develop good concentration. The right hand symbolizes method and the left hand symbolizes wisdom – the two together symbolize the union of method and wisdom. The two thumbs at the level of the navel symbolize the blazing of inner fire.
The back is straight but not tense. This helps us to develop and maintain a clear mind, and it allows the subtle energy winds to flow freely.
The lips and teeth are held as usual, but the tongue touches against the back of the upper teeth. This prevents excessive salivation while also preventing our mouth from becoming too dry.
The head is tipped a little forward with the chin slightly tucked in so that the eyes are cast down. This helps prevent mental excitement.
The eyes are neither wide open nor completely closed, but remain half open and gaze down along the line of the nose. If the eyes are wide open we are likely to develop mental excitement and if they are closed we are likely to develop mental sinking.
The shoulders are level and the elbows are held slightly away from the sides to let air circulate.
Cosmic Energy meditation
Wear something comfortable – wearing tight clothes can make you feel too constricted when you want to relax your body
Make sure you are alert – what you eat makes a huge difference in how alert you are. Eat something light so you don’t feel drowsy while doing the meditation
Sit in a upright, comfortable, and relaxed sitting position.
Place your hands in your lap.
Close your eyes.
Breathe. When we have settled down comfortably on our meditation seat we begin by becoming aware of the thoughts and distractions that are arising in our mind. Then we gently turn our attention to our breath, letting its rhythm remain normal. As we breathe out we imagine that we are breathing away all disturbing thoughts and distractions in the form of black smoke that vanishes in space. As we breathe in we imagine that we are breathing in all the blessings and inspiration of the holy beings in the form of white light that enters our body and absorbs into our heart. We maintain this visualization single-pointedly with each inhalation and exhalation for twenty-one rounds, or until our mind has become peaceful and alert. If we concentrate on our breathing in this way, negative thoughts and distractions will temporarily disappear because we cannot concentrate on more than one object at a time.
Release thoughts which appear and return your focus to your breath.
As you practice this your breathing will become slower and shallower. Allow this to naturally happen.
Allow your breath to open your third eye, and just continue to breathe and be aware as the realms of Spirit and the Energies of Cosmic Consciousness become available to you.
Daily meditation is so essential. It is good meditating everyday for a week. Try it out and see how you feel…There is abundant cosmic energy in the cosmos. This energy can be channelized by using chakras, breathing exercises or energy healing. However, the best and simplest way to acquire this positive energy is through meditation.
Cosmic energy enters our body through the mind. Meditation helps our mind to be calm and focused to receive this cosmic energy.
In most individuals, the chakras may be partially closed most of the time due to mental distractions such as stress, anxiety, fear, negative emotions and worries. Cosmic energy enters our system through the chakras and supports the individual energy field of the body.
During meditation, the mind and body tends to become one. This makes the physical and spiritual self ready to receive cosmic energy and aids in cosmic energy healing.
Experts suggest that cosmic energy can also be channelized through meditation. This meditation imparts calmness of mind and develops inner peace. When the mind is calm, it can receive the cosmic energy.
By focusing on breathing through the base chakra and absorbing energy from the earth, one will be able to increase the body energy in a short period.
